Joyce Elaine (Hoewing) Fringer, 85 of Moweaqua went to be with her heavenly father at 2PM Sunday, February 23rd, while at home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025 in First Baptist Church, Moweaqua, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and funeral service following.  Memorials may be made to Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation.

Joyce was the second of eight girls, born June 1, 1939 to Art and Violet Hoewing of Moweaqua, Illinois. She married Bert Fringer of Assumption on March 24, 1961, he survives.

Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church of Moweaqua and was retired from Illinois State Water Survey.

Surviving are her husband, Bert; sons: David (Jenny) Fringer of San Jose, CA and Darryl (Deb) Fringer of Prophetstown, IL; daughter, Dawn (Ray) Griffith of Loveland, CO; sisters: Esther Macintosh of Atlanta, GA, Stella Carnahan of Decatur, IL, Cheryl Biggs of Moweaqua, IL, Patricia Morris of Dalton City, IL, and Rebecca Ray of Redmond, WA.

Joyce was the proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren Zachary Fringer, Caleb Fringer, Katherine Fringer, Madeline Fringer, Logan Griffith and Laci Griffith.

Preceding her in death are her parents and sisters, Martha McDaniel and Melody Ann.
