Joseph Kendrick "Joe" Lanham, 76, of Moweaqua, died May 3, 2018 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Assumption, IL. Visitation will be from 5 -8 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, IL. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, Moweaqua, with full military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 105 or Moweaqua Golf Course

Joe was born June 9, 1941 in Monroe County, MO, the son of Charles Kendrick and Anna Lou (Montgomery). He married Connie Sue Campbell June 19, 1965 in Amarillo TX. She preceded him in death August 22, 2017.

Joe was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church of Moweaqua and American Legion Post 105. He graduated from St. John's Seminary in 1959, Quincy University in 1972 and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Joe worked for McLean Trucking, Cargo Air Freight, Harry E. Hills & Associates and ADM. After retiring in 2005 he spent his time traveling the world with his wife, golfing, volunteering at the legion and enjoying his grandchildren.

Surviving are his daughters: Laurie (Bryon) Coffman and Julie (Kurt) Schinzler, all of Moweaqua; grandchildren: Lauren Addison (fiancé, Max Meyer) Chadick of Carbondale, IL, Nathaniel James Coffman, Luke Kendrick Schinzler and Hannah Grace Schinzler, all of Moweaqua; sisters: Patricia (Donald) Moore of Florissant, MO, and Mary Anna Brickey of Evansville, IN; sister-in-laws: Trudy Lanham of Ellisville, MO, Charlotte Little of Monroe City, MO and Carol (Glenn) Hastings of Republic, MO.

Preceding him in death are his wife, parents and brothers: Charles, Bob, Gene & Don.
