DATELINE: MOWEAQUA
John David Oglesby, 58, of Moweaqua, IL died October 29, 2015, from complications due to a stroke, in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua.
John was born January 29, 1957 in Decatur, IL, the son of Paul Sr.and Dorothy E. (Yeoman) Oglesby. He was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua and a member of Shelby County Farm Bureau. John traveled widely working as a pipefitter and enjoyed being a farm owner in the Moweaqua area.
Surviving are his brothers: Paul Jr. (Paula) Oglesby of Decatur, Il and Edward Oglesby of Tucson, AZ; and nieces: Isabel and Victoria Oglesby.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
