John S. Bohlen, 78, of Chicago, died November 1, 2020 from complications related to a recent heart attack.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

John was born July 12, 1942 in Moweaqua, IL, to Haldon H. and Doris (Bilyeu) Bohlen.

John is survived by his daughter Leslie (John) Hagan of Media, PA; sons Jonathan (Elizabeth) Bohlen of Chicago, IL and Eric Bohlen of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Carolyn Hagan, Anna Bohlen, and Dominic Bohlen; sister Anne Bohlen of High Point, North Carolina; brothers Phillip (Barbara) Bohlen of Moweaqua, IL, David Bohlen of Springfield, IL, Thomas (Sherry) Bohlen of Champaign, IL, Kenneth (Sandy) Bohlen of Springfield, IL, and Roger Bohlen of Spillsville, IA.

Preceding John in death are his parents and sister Barbara.
