Joan Moore, a lifelong resident of Moweaqua, passed away April 25, 2013 at the Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center.
Private family services will be held in Westside Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Moweaqua Fire Department or Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center.
Mrs. Moore was born on June 29, 1930 to Ira and Lola Fearn. She married Bill Moore Sr. in 1948. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1977.
Mrs. Moore leaves son Bill (Susie) Moore of Warrensburg, IL and son Brad Moore of Moweaqua, IL. Survivors also include grandchildren Becky (Trent) Severns and Matt (Amy) Moore. Great-grandchildren include Zachary Severns, Hailey Moore, Luke Severns, Charlie Moore and Kate Severns. A brother, Charles Fearn of Collinsville, IL also survives, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Shirley Traughber, sister Rachel Jesse, and an infant grandson.
