Jerry Ray Ohl, 63, of Assumption, died January 8, 2022 in Pana Community Hospital, Pana, IL.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022, with a visitation on Wednesday, January 12, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., both in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Jerry was born on March 21, 1958 in Hillsboro, IL, the son of Jessie Meral and Bonnie Mildred (Smith) Ohl.  He married Donna Miller on September 5, 1998 in Assumption, IL.  She survives.

Jerry was a member of IBEW LOCAL 146 and retired from Bodine Electric of Decatur, IL.  He was an avid L.A. Lakers and St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed playing golf on the Wednesday Night Men's Golf League.

Surviving is his wife, Donna; son, Ronnie (Jenny) Scribner, Jr. of Decatur, IL; daughter, Crystal (Troy) Lindsay of Assumption, IL; grandchildren: Brandon (Courtney) Webb, Austin (Emily) Webb, Shelby (Hunter) Mast and  Ashley (Tim) Woods; several great-grandchildren; brothers: Robert (Arlene) Ohl and Randy Ohl, all of Assumption; sisters: Loretta Ohl of Charleston, IL and Glenda (Melvin) Rice of S. Carolina; as well as many loving cousins.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
