Jeffrey L. Weaver, 64, of Tunnel Hill, GA passed away January 6, 2015, in his home.

Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL.

Visitation will be from 9-11 am Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Seitz Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Assumption.

Jeff was born October 15, 1950 in Decatur, IL, the son of Lloyd and Melba (Jackson) Weaver. He married Diane Long July 15, 2009. She survives.

Jeff lived in Assumption until serving in the Army as a Military Police Officer during the Vietnam conflict. He continued his career in law enforcement in Shelbyville, IL and Cheyenne, WY before returning to Illinois to work in security. He most recently worked as a driver liaison in Georgia.

Surviving are his wife, mother, son Jeffrey H. Weaver of Marion, IL, step-sons: Jesse Hope of Tunnel Hill, GA, Bobby Hope of Fayetteville, TN and Matt Hope of Boaz, AL, 3 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandson, sister Jeanne Jones of Moweaqua and dear friend Jack.

Preceding him in death is his father.
