Jeannie Martincic, 73, of Assumption, died February 18, 2019, in her home.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Assumption.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery Fund.

Jeannie was born September 5, 1945 in Assumption, IL, the daughter of Leo Jay and Flonia (Levi) Norris.  She married Verlon Richard "Dick" Martincic January 30, 1964 in Hillsboro, IL.  He preceded her in death May 15, 2018.

Jeannie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption, IL, St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Societies and Democratic Women's Organization.  She owned and operated Jeannie's Fashion in Assumption for 28 years.  Jeannie was a caregiver, wonderful mother and exceptional grandmother.

Surviving are her son, Frank Martincic of Assumption, IL; daughter, Tracie Langley of O'Fallon, MO; grandchildren: Clayton, John, Hunter and Hayden; brothers: Paul (Dorie) Norris of Decatur, IL and Walter (Jamie) Norris of Orange Beach, AL; and sisters: Helen (Herman) Porter of Assumption, IL, Sue Mathias of Assumption, IL, Barb Kling of Lincoln, IL and Margie Puckett of Pana, IL.

Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, brother, Leo and sisters, Kathryn Greutman and Leona Norris.
