Janice Arlene Myers, 88, of Moweaqua, died October 28, 2021, in her home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in First Baptist Church of Moweaqua.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2021, also in the church.  Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery, Moweaqua.  Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Moweaqua.

Janice was born on February 20, 1933 in Moweaqua, IL, the daughter of Albert and Mina Ethel (Pearson) Harris.  She married Donald E. Myers on August 30, 1953 in Moweaqua.  He survives.

Janice was a member of First Baptist Church of Moweaqua and Moweaqua Historical Society.  She loved all things outdoors; trees, flowers and rehabilitating wildlife.  Janice was a renowned trunk and furniture refinisher.  Above all, she loved her family.

Surviving is her husband, Donald; children: Mike (Carol) Myers, Diane (Mike) Burgener and Tom (Amy) Myers, all of Moweaqua, IL; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, a grandson and a sister.
