James Oliver "Jim" Catlin, 75, of Moweaqua went to be with his Lord and Savior March 24, 2015 in Decatur Memorial Hospital, with his loving family by his side.

Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.

Memorials may be made to Fame Evangelical Church of Moweaqua.

Jim was born August 9, 1939, in Hammond, IL, the son of Jesse V. and Aleita M. (Kestner) Catlin. He married Nadyne Wood, July 20, 1984 in Fame Evangelical Church, Moweaqua. She survives.

Jim was a member of Fame Evangelical Church. He graduated from Blue Mound High School, class of 1957. He worked as a Case – IH Parts Manager for 50 years in Blue Mound and Morrisonville, Don Kuhle Implement in Assumption and Shelby Farm Power in Shelbyville.

Surviving is his wife Nadyne; daughters: Diana (Kris) Schafer of Springfield, IL and Pam (John) Woodard of Colorado Springs, CO; Sons: Brad (Pam) Wood of Warrior, AL and Monty (Lita) Wood of Honolulu, HI; grandchildren: Mathew Catlin, Michael Schafer, Meghan Wilson, Amber Catlin, Amy Watson, Rizza Souther, Kaleb Woodard and Rylee Woodard; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters: Phyllis (Dean) Rosborough of Decatur, IL and Helen (Kenneth) Hohenstein of Mt. Auburn, IL and brother Doug Catlin of Springfield, IL

Preceding him in death are his parents, 2 sons: Greg and Thomas, granddaughter Lindsey Schafer, a brother, Dean Catlin and a sister, Linda Allison.
