James Lee Myers, 87, of Chicago, IL passed away January 5, 2018 in Chicago.

Graveside services, with full military honors, will be 11:00 a.m.  Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL.

James was born July 16, 1930 in Decatur, IL, the son of James Edward, Jr. and Ofel Lee (Etchison) Myers.  He married Betty Jean Waite July 27, 1957 in Moweaqua. She survives.

James was a member of Central Methodist Church, VFW #1114 and Woodworkers Guild.  He was a Millikin University graduate and a Marine, serving in the Korean War.  James owned Myers Woodworking in Evansville, IN for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; daughter, Anne Myers; son, Richard (Sarah) Myers; grandchildren: Lilly, Sophia and Cyrus Myers and brother, Alan Myers.

Preceding him in death are his parents and son, James Harry Myers.
