Jacqueline M. Stengel, 90, of Decatur, IL died March 25, 2018 at Hawthorne Inn Assisted Living, Shelbyville, IL.

Jacqueline was born October 10, 1927 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Lloyd and Merle (Price) Miller. She married Leo W. Stengel, in May of 1950. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2007.

Surviving are her children: Rebecca (Robert) Mallory of Loveland, CO, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Vineyard of Chatham, IL, Abigail (Andrew) Zeaman of Cowden, IL and Gordon (Kerry) Stengel of Lake St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Leo, parents, and sisters, Nancy Phillips and June Parkhill.

Jacqueline was a homemaker and an avid supporter of the Democratic Party. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
