Helen M. Parker, 78, of Moweaqua, died September 1, 2022 in Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.  Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., prior to service time. Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2022  in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, McLeansboro, IL.  Memorials may be made to Decatur Quilt Guild, Grace Baptist Church of Moweaqua or Susan G. Komen.

Helen was born on October 20, 1943 in McLeansboro, IL, the daughter of Dale R. and Morrissine (Jumper) Drew.  She married Dwight Parker on February 13, 1960 in Blairsville, IL.  He preceded her in death on July 29, 2020.

Helen was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Moweaqua and Decatur Quilt Guild.  She worked as a local beautician for many years.

Surviving are her children: Debora MacDonna of Springfield, IL and Gary Dale (Sheri) Parker of Moweaqua, IL; grandchildren: Erin (Josh) Masters, Keegan (Katy) MacDonna, Lisa (Kyle) Agney, Heather (Tony) Girardi and Brittney Lovings; great-grandchildren: Adriana, Brody, Piper, Anna Jo, and Sophia; and sister, Linda Carter of Carmi, IL.

Preceding her in death are her husband; parents; daughter, Kristine; and son-in-law, Paul MacDonna.
