Harold G. Mindrup, 85, of Assumption, IL died November 26, 2015 in Pana Community Hospital.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 in Assumption Christian Church. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. prior to service time, also in the church. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption. Memorials may be made to Assumption Christian Church.

Harold was born January 27, 1930 the son of Carl and Ester (Henchen) Mindrup. He married Betty Brookshire in Witt, IL. June 1, 1957. She survives.

Harold was a member of Assumption Christian Church. He formerly owned and operated Harold's Dollar Wise in Assumption.

Surviving are his wife Betty of Assumption; son, Dennis R. (Suzy) Mindrup, of Valmeyer, IL; daughter, Sharon K. (Randy) Middleton of Assumption, IL; grandchildren: Alecia M. Pfeffer, Crystal (John) Bertram, Heather Good and Jonathan Mindrup; five great-grandchildren; brother, Carl "Bob" of Alhambra, IL; sisters: Lila Reckmann of Alhambra, IL, Madeline (Kenny) Eyman of Mulberry Grove, IL, Doris Mayfield, of Greenville, IL and Edna (Bud) Wiss of Vandalia, IL.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marie Thacker.
