Gregg "Hibby" Hibbard, 65, of Assumption, formerly of Moweaqua, died January 18,    2018, in his home.

Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, with a 1:00 pm burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Perfect Place, 117 N. Main St. Moweaqua, immediately following. Memorials may be made to the Moweaqua Golf Course.

Gregg was born March 20, 1952 in Decatur, IL, the son of Joseph Benjamin and Theresa (Oventile) Hibbard. He was retired from Caterpillar, Inc., Decatur, IL.

Surviving are his brothers: Mike (Karen) Hibbard of Shepherdsville, KY and Joseph (Rosie) Hibbard of Carthage, NC, and longtime loving companion Kay Van Ness of Clinton, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
