Gloria Irene Barnes, 78, of Moweaqua, died April 8, 2026 in HSHS St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Per Gloria's wishes, a private burial will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 in Masonic Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL.  Memorials may be made to "The Family of Gloria Barnes" or Habitat for Humanity c/o Seitz Funeral Homes, 118 E. Main St., Moweaqua, IL  62550.

Gloria was born on February 11, 1948 in Moweaqua, IL, the daughter of Wayne and Mildred (Marshall) Barnes.

Surviving are her sisters: Marilyn Bower and Sharon Barnes, both of Moweaqua, IL, and Sue (Earl) Kramer of Sullivan, IL.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers: Bill, Aubrey and Kenny; and sisters: Mary Alice, Barbara, Yvonne, Darlene and Kathy.
