Glenn E. Thompson, 91, of Decatur died July 26, 2013, in Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 29, 2013, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Sunday and also 1 hour before service time on Monday in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Burial will be in Macon Cemetery, Macon, IL.

Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church of Decatur.

Glenn was born June 23, 1922, in Moweaqua, IL, the son of John and Dora (Martin) Thompson. He married Bessie Mauck in Decatur February 13, 1944. She survives.

Glenn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur. He was a former board member for the Moweaqua Golf Course, Heritage Grain and Macon County FSA. Glenn was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, daughters: Linda (Jim) Hall of Houston, TX and Vicki (Randy) Meyer of Macon, IL, grandchildren: Justin (Jennifer) Hall of Malaysia, Jeremy (Jeanae) Hall of London, England, Travis (Libby) Hall of Houston, TX, Kate (Clint) Schlosser of Hampton, GA and Kelsey Meyer of Macon, and three great-grandchildren: Kaytlin, Brooke and Jadon Hall.

Preceding him in death are his parents, five brothers and three sisters.

The family would like to thank Safe Haven Hospice and Hickory Point Christian Village for the excellent care given to Glenn.
