Frank Andrew Martincic, 57, of Assumption, died July 2, 2026, in his home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2026 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Assumption, IL.  A visitation, in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., prior to the Funeral Mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Frank was born on January 21, 1969, the son of Verlon Richard and Dorothy Jean "Jeannie" (Norris) Martincic.

Frank was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pana Eagles Aerie #4109, and Pana Moose Lodge #1015.  He served as an Assumption Police Officer and also as a Shelby County Canine Officer alongside his K-9 partner, Ceasar.  He later worked as a Corrections Officer at the Taylorville Correctional Center, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service.

Frank enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, cheering on the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Chicago Cubs. Above all, he cherished his beloved grandchildren, and treasured the "quality time" spent with family and friends in his garage.

Surviving are his sons: Hunter (Lacey) Martincic of Westervelt, IL and Hayden Martincic of Mt. Zion, IL; grandchildren: Izzy Jean and Wesley Richard; a sister; as well as several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
