Frances H. Noland, 98, of Macon, IL, died June 22, 2019, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019, in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.  Memorials may be made to South Macon Library or Sanner Chapel United Methodist Church.

Frances was born August 21, 1920 in Harristown, IL, the daughter of Willis F. and Grace (Bramel) Hartwig.  She married Herbert D. Noland May 11, 1941 in Macon, IL.  He preceded her in death March 16, 2006.

Frances lived her entire life in farming communities in rural Macon County.  She retired from A. E. Staley after a 32 year career, rising to the position of Administrative Assistant to the Executive Vice President. Frances received her Certified Professional Secretary certification in 1971.

Following her retirement, Frances served on the South Macon Library Board as treasurer for 19 years.  She avidly followed her children and grandchildren in all of their activities and sporting events.  She loved music, travel, reading, playing cards and sports.  Frances was a long-time bowler and enjoyed following the Pro Bowlers Tours and St. Louis Cardinals.  She was a member of Sanner Chapel United Methodist Church of Moweaqua.

Surviving are her sons: Michael (Anne) Noland of Willowbrook, IL, Gregg (Mary) Noland of Decatur, IL, and David Noland of Macon, IL; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and sister, Betty Ekiss of Moweaqua, IL.

Preceding her in death are her husband, parents and sister, Jean McNalley.
