Fern LaRaine Fisher, 85, of Assumption died April 12, 2013 in Taylorville Care Center, Taylorville, IL.

Services will be11:00 am Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.

Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.

Memorials may be made to Parkinson Foundation.

LaRaine was born May 4, 1927 in Boulder, IL the daughter of Herbert and Ethel (Cole) Moler. She married Ralph Eugene Fisher in Moweaqua February 6, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1996.

LaRaine was an active member of Assumption Christian Church. She served as a Sunday school teacher. She loved music and sang and played the piano. Gardening and cooking were two of her many hobbies. LaRaine was a retired teacher's aide.

Surviving are her son Troy (Dixie) Fisher of Assumption; daughters Debra (Ron) Smock of Mattoon, Terry (Ron) Nicol of Taylorville; grandchildren Shannon Mann, Joshua Nicol and Brad Himes; great-grand children Austin Wright, Allison Wright, Alivia Mann, Stanley Himes and Simon Himes; brothers Glen (Sylvia) Moler of Searcy, AR, Marion Moler of Little Rock, AR.

Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, five brothers and four sisters.
