Edward J. Snow, 67, of Assumption, IL died July 19, 2016 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, also in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Assumption. Memorials may be made to CAM Youth Ball League.

Edward was born April 21, 1949 in Pana, IL, the son of Robert and Virginia (Ingold) Snow. He married Gena (Knapp) February 7, 1985 in Taylorville, IL. She survives.

Edward was retired from GSI, after 43 years of service, as the Shipping Supervisor. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Pana, IL.

Surviving is his wife, Gena; sons, Mathew (Carrie) Snow of Taylorville, IL and Edward Snow of Assumption, IL; daughter, Angie (Ryan) Ruot of Assumption, IL; grandchildren, Drew, Jayce and Jazmyne; brothers, Robert L. (Christine) Snow of Decatur, IL, Nelson T. (Denise) Snow of Dieterich, IL and Stephen F. Snow of Pana, IL; and sister, Rosemary Snow of Assumption, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
