Donna J. Hemer, 81, of Moweaqua, died June 9, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Moweaqua.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.  Memorials may be made to Shelby County Farm Bureau Foundation or First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua.

Donna was born on May 26, 1941 in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Green) Bryan.  She married Robert Hemer on November 14, 1959 in Owaneco, IL.  He survives.

Donna was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua and served as an election judge in Penn Township for nearly fifty years.

Surviving are her husband Robert; son, Doug (Deb) Hemer of Moweaqua, IL; daughter, Jody (Michael) Norman of Washington, IL; grandchildren: Megan, Melissa, Sarah, Bridget, and Brody; great-grandchildren: Julianna and Parker; and brother, Dallas (Rose Marie) Bryan of Franklin, TN.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother, David Bryan.
