Donald L. Stiner, 92, of Moweaqua, died April 14, 2019 in Heritage Manor, Pana, IL.

Funeral services, with full military honors, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, IL.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Seitz Funeral Home. Masonic services will follow at 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Donald was born September 27, 1926, in Moweaqua, IL, the son of Ernest and Tressie (Ewing) Stiner.  He married Emma Lois Porter June 23, 1948 in Shelbyville, IL.  She preceded him in death April 9, 2004.

Donald was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God, American Legion Post #257 of Stonington, Masonic Lodge of Owaneco, Eagles Lodge of Taylorville and Caterpillar Campers Club.  Donald was retired from Caterpillar and an Army Veteran, serving during WWII.

Surviving are his sons: Donald "Denny" (Maureen) Stiner of Owaneco, IL and Terry (Crystal) Stiner of Windsor, IL; daughters: Mary (David) Brazel of Overland, MO and Donna (Keith) Willey of FL; daughter-in-law, Shirley Stiner of Sullivan, IL; fourteen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren and sisters: Josephine Gillen of FL and Goldie Ragan of Shelbyville, IL.

Preceding him in death is his wife, Emma, son, Chuck Stiner, parents, two brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.
