Dennis G. Whitlatch, 74, of Tower Hill, died September 7, 2024 in Pana Community Hospital, Pana, IL.

Dennis was born on March 12, 1950 in Decatur, IL, the son of Kilburn W. and Ethel Mae (Mose) Whitlatch.  He married Mary Harris on August 8, 1971 in Las Vegas, NV.  She survives.

Dennis worked for Sloans Implement of Assumption and formerly worked as Supervisor of San Bernardino, CA Water Department.  He enjoyed hunting and farming, and supported Guardian Angel Bassett Rescue.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; son, Jeremy (Sandi) Whitlatch of Mattoon, IL; daughter, Christina (Alfredo) Alverez of Yucaipa, CA; two grandchildren; brother, Leslie Whitlatch of Pana, IL; sisters: Wanda Robison and Dorothy (Troy) Crouch, all of Assumption, IL.

Preceding him in death  are his parents, one granddaughter, one brother, and two sisters.
