David Rex Hutton, 67, of Moweaqua, died February 20, 2022 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.

David was born May 15, 1954 in Decatur, Illinois. He was the son of Glen L. and Mary A. Hutton. He is survived by his best friends; Timothy Cook and Terri Phillips Cooper, sisters; Alice June Reddick of Shelbyville, Indiana, Carol Sue (Thomas) Hall of Blue Mound , Ill., brothers; Robert (Joanne) Hutton of Bethany, Ill., Donald (Jeanie) Hutton of Assumption, Ill., Harold (Lisa) Hutton of Findlay, Ill., and Ted (Jane) of Blue Mound, Ill. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews plus many other family and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March, 4, 2022 at Masonic Cemetery, Moweaqua.   Memorials may be made to Shelby County Humane Society.

David was a retired mail carrier of 33 years. He loved his dogs, Punky and Jr.

Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother-in-law.
