Darlene E. Durbin, 77, of Blue Mound, IL died April 5, 2017, in her home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, also in the funeral home. Burial will be in Westside Cemetery Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.

Darlene was born December 7, 1939 in Moweaqua, IL, the daughter of Carl and Flossie (McQuality) Austin. She married Vincent W. Durbin June 6, 1963 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death October 24, 2004.

Darlene was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and retired from Caterpillar, Inc.

Surviving are her sons: Jim (Lori) Durbin of Decatur, IL and David (Marilyn) Durbin of Blue Mound, IL; stepchildren: Judy Pruett of St. Peters, MO, Jerry (Susan) Durbin of Decatur, IL and John Durbin; grandchildren: Jamie (Kevin) Schwass, Brandon (Carle) Durbin, Seth Durbin, Kaitlyn Edwards, Mollie Durbin, Austin Durbin, Brock Durbin, Autumn Durbin and Tanner Durbin; great-grandchildren: Keegan Durbin, Reagan Schwass and Declan Schwass; many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; brother, John (Linda) Austin of Moweaqua, IL; sister, Judy Hutchens of Sullivan, IL and sister-in-law, Ethel Austin of Macon, IL.

Preceding her in death is her husband; parents; three brothers: Carl Jr., Charlie and Jerry; sister, Dorothy and stepson, James.
