Danny E. Trueblood, 47, of Moweaqua, died November 20, 2024, in his home.

A Memory Gathering will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 in First Christian Church of Moweaqua.  Memorials may be made to Nathaniel & Landon Trueblood College Fund c/o of Seitz Funeral Homes, 118 E. Main St., Moweaqua, IL  62550.

Danny was born on January 30, 1977 in Decatur, IL, the son of Elmer and Sharon Trueblood. He was an RN for over twenty-five years and a tattoo artist for over 30 years, owning and operating Fleshwound Tattoos in Moweaqua, which had been voted Herald & Review Reader's Choice Runner-up for best tattoo parlor.  Danny poured his life into his artwork and spent many hours perfecting it every day.  He was very welcoming to all of his customers and could find anything to have a conversation about.  He was a very intelligent person and wanted to share his knowledge.

Surviving are his sons: Nathan Trueblood and Landon Trueblood, both of Moweaqua, IL; father, Elmer Trueblood of Moweaqua, IL; sisters: Anita (Jerry) Clark and Becky Trueblood, all of Moweaqua, IL.

Preceding him in death are his mother, Sharon and brother, Duane Trueblood.
