Daniel A. Phillipi, 61, of Moweaqua died April 3, 2018, in his home.

Daniel was born September 23, 1956 in Decatur, IL, the son of Berlin A. and Ruby (Johnson) Phillipi. He married Mary Demascal in Decatur, IL September 15, 1996. She survives.

Daniel was affiliated with First Christian Church of Moweaqua. He was a Taxidermist and Truck Driver.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; son, Daniel L. (Nitiya) Phillipi of Moweaqua, IL; daughter, Charity (Chris) Miller of Mt. Zion, IL; stepsons: Michael (Kelly) Scoles of Taylorville, IL and Larry (April) Scoles of Assumption, IL; stepdaughter, Dena (Charles) Tucker of Taylorville, IL; twenty one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Dana) Best of Decatur, IL; and brothers-in-law: Joseph (Diana) Demascal of Louisiana, Larry Demascal of Shelbyville, IL and Robert (Latisha) Demascal of Assumption, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Shelia and son, Adam.
