Dale R. Wempen, 70, of Assumption, died January 28, 2025, in his home.

Per Dales's wishes, there will be no services.

Dale was born on February 10, 1954 in Taylorville, IL, the son of Robert and Betty (Stickel) Wempen.  He previously owned and operated Wempen Lumber in Macon, IL.

Surviving are his granddaughter, Raeanna Lizabeth Wempen of Chatham, IL; sister, Janet Lee (JR) Thompson of Houston, TX; and brothers: Richard (Linda) Wempen of Assumption, IL, Steven (Paula) Wempen of Assumption, IL and Alan (Jackie) Wempen of Taylorville, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents and son, Robby Wempen.
