Connie Rae Price, 78, of Pana, formerly of Assumption, died August 11, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, also in the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to Pana Eagles Aerie #4109.

Connie was born on March 10, 1945, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William K. and Laura (Nelson) Smalley. She married Donald E. Price on October 11, 1975, in Mt. Zion, IL.

Connie had many hobbies that include crocheting, playing bingo, baking cookies and playing the organ. She was a 25-year member of the Pana Eagles Aerie #4109. She loved her grandchildren very much.

Surviving are her husband, Donald; daughters: Tammy Louise Price of Taylorville, IL and Terrie Michelle Smith of Pana, IL; step-daughters: Janet Ann (Barbaro) Dominguez of Saint John, IN and Tracy Lynn Kemmet of Crystal Lake, IL; brothers: William "Bill" (Emma) Smalley, Jr. of the Philippines, Dwayne J. (Kathy) Smalley of Oakley, IL, and David (Penny) Smalley of Cerro Gordo, IL; sister: Penlyn Mae Collier of Arkansas; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and sisters: Linda Hector and Deborah Smalley.
