Clifford Earl "Butch" Cowger, 68 of Assumption died February 18, 2013 in Pana Community Hospital, Pana.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21st in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Clifford was born March 12, 1944 in Decatur, IL the son of Earl Clifford and Amanda Marie (Hibbs) Cowger. He married Shirley True in Blue Mound, IL August 27, 1966.

Clifford worked for Decatur Bottling as a route driver and later as a laborer for
PC Limited, Moweaqua.

Surviving are his wife Shirley; son Norman (Becky) Cowger of Moweaqua ; daughter Lisa (Allen) Duez of Moweaqua; grandchildren Christopher, Brandon, Cassidy, and Spencer all of Moweaqua; brothers Scott (Kim) Cowger of Decatur, Lynn (Sharon) Cowger of Decatur, sisters Shirley (Gene) Lunsford of Decatur, Ann Gulick of Decatur, Monica Himmelrick of Decatur, Lynette Cowger of Decatur.

Preceding him in death are his parents and brothers Mike Cowger and Steve Cowger.

Clifford was a loving husband and family man who loved the outdoors, going camping, telling stories around the campfire and fishing. He was a very hard worker and never complained. He was the best dad and grandpa anyone could ever ask for.
