Cletus James Bays, 77, of East Peoria, IL, died April 3, 2021 in OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Private graveside services will be held in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL.

Cletus was born on April 30, 1943 in Pekin, IL, the son of Cletus and Josephine (Stiner) Bays.  He married Janet Wise on June 6, 1975 in East Peoria, IL.  She preceded him in death on December 6, 2002. Cletus worked for St. Francis Hospital for37 years.

Surviving are his sister, Dona Parks of Metamora, IL, brother, William Bays of Princeville, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him are his parents and wife, Janet.
