Charles (Chuck) Hobart Reish, 84 of Moweaqua, left this life on December 31, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, Illinois, and entered his forever home.

A service to celebrate Chuck's life will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, with Pastor Ryan Baker officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International or First Christian Church of Moweaqua ("youth ministries" in the memo).

Chuck was born on July 17, 1938, in Taylorville, Illinois, the son of Charles William and Alice Lucille (Jackson) Reish. He married Carolyn Collier on July 27, 1963, in Moweaqua. He served in the US Navy and retired from Firestone after 30 years.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son, Chuck (Elaine) Reish of Morrison, TN; daughter, Lisa (Todd) Hawkins of Moweaqua; brother Ronnie (Linda) Reish  of Granite City, IL; grandchildren, Jordan (Zoe) Hawkins, Caleb (Madeline) Hawkins, Trevor (Leah) Reish, Tristan (Karagan) Reish and Cy Reish; great- grandchildren, Lyric, Remy, Charli Anne, Judd and Bellamy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Pete.
