Catherine E. "Katie" Wilson, 71, of Clayton, IL, died September 18, 2021 in Accolade Healthcare of Peoria.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, IL.  An additional visitation & celebration of life will take place from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the  Clayton Community Center 108 N. Jefferson St., Clayton, IL.  Memorials may be made to Golden Good Shepherd Home of Golden, IL.

Katie was born on February 2, 1950 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Warren and Valencia (Richardson) Hunter, Jr.  She married Harold Wilson on January 28, 1978 in Decatur, IL.  He survives.

Katie was a nursing home activities assistant and was a good, hard worker her whole life.

Surviving are her husband, Harold of Clayton, IL; sons: Jason Lloyd (Lynn) Dively of Pleasant Hill, IA and Daniel (Evelyn) Dively of Augusta, IL; daughter, Tracy (Greg) Heil of Carmi, IL; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers: Wayne (Cita) Hunter of Bethany, IL, Will (Sharon) Hunter of Anderson, CA and Bob Hunter of Decatur, IL; sisters: Pat Pispas and Dee Dee (Jerome) Shafer all of Decatur, IL; brother-in-law, Tom Groves of Mt Zion, IL; sisters-in law: Linda (Randy) Carter and Betty Wilson all of Decatur, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents and sister, Mary Ann Groves.
