Carla JoAnn Suhrbier, 57, of Assumption, died October 25, 2019, in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019, in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time.  Burial will be at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Carla was born in Fort Dodge, IA, June 16, 1962, the daughter of Carl E. and Sharon L. (Porter) Suhrbier.  She was a member of Assumption Christian Church and formerly worked as a cook in Edi's Dairy Bar, Pat's Grill, Aunt Sophie's, Mac's Diner and the Dinner Bucket, all in Assumption.  Carla was also a caregiver in the Assumption area.

Surviving are her sons: Geoffrey (Kylee) Mathes of Taylorville, IL and James Coleman of Assumption, IL; daughter, Holly (Chris) Marston of Assumption, IL; eight grandchildren; brother, Clayton Suhrbier of Columbia, MO; and sisters: Kimberly Suhrbier and Julia Perry, both of Assumption, IL.

Preceding her in death are her parents and one brother.
