Carl C. Corzine, 89, of Assumption, died February 1, 2022 in St John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 in First United Methodist Church of Assumption.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Burial, with full military honors, will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to Assumption Public Library or Assumption Historical Society.

Carl was born on August 31, 1932 in Assumption, IL, the son of Dale C. and Marjorie (Lloyd) Corzine.  He married Marilyn L. Hoskins on June 13, 1957 in Allenville, IL.  She preceded him in death on April 19, 2006.

Carl proudly served in the United States Army and later returned to Assumption where he began his banking career. He worked for First National Bank of Assumption for over forty years, serving as President and CEO during that time.

Surviving is his son Michael (Vanessa) Corzine of Assumption, IL; grandchildren: Abby (Todd Toberman) Corzine of Assumption, IL and Andrew (Stacey) Corzine of Moweaqua, IL; and great-grandchildren: Noah, Eli, Grady and Emmett.

Preceding him in death are his parents; step-mother, Cecile Corzine; daughter, Carrie Corzine and brothers: Bob Corzine and Bill Corzine.
