Brenda J. Lewellyn, 66, of Assumption died November 3, 2014 in her home.

Private Graveside services will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Brenda was born September 29, 1948 in Monticello, IL the daughter of Alvin L. and Genevie (Bridgman) Blosser. She married Jack L. Lewellyn December 1, 1968 in Assumption. He preceded her in death December 1, 2013.

Brenda was affiliated with Mt. Pleasant Church of God and a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Assumption. She was a secretary at Bond Elementary in Assumption for 35 years.

Surviving are her daughter Cassandra DeClerck of Assumption and son Lonny (Ann) Lewellyn of Macon; grandchildren: Dylan DeClerck, Logan Lewellyn and Delaney Lewellyn; sisters: Beverly (Ervin) Crist of Arthur and Judy (Jerry) Crosby of Pana and her loving dog Molly.

Preceding her in death are her husband and parents.
