Bonnie L. Truxell, 80, of Assumption, died March 17, 2022 in Heritage Health, Pana, IL.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.   Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to Assumption Public Library.

Bonnie was born in Taylorville, IL on Easter Sunday, April 13, 1941, the daughter of Harold and Leila (Myers) Mink.  She married Louis Truxell in Assumption, IL on August 26, 1961.  He preceded her in death on April 14, 1977.

Bonnie was an Assumption High School graduate and worked as a LPN for over forty years.

Surviving are her sisters, Doris (Jim) McLeod and Tina (Chuck) Baird, all of Assumption and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband and son, Harold on May 18, 2016.
