Softly and tenderly, Bonnie Lee Seifert, 88, of Moweaqua, was lifted into the arms of Jesus at Imboden Creek Living Center, April 15, 2014.
Family and friends will rejoice with a special service to honor our mother, grandmother and friend on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10:00 am, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Burial will be in Bilyeu Cemetery, Moweaqua.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Moweaqua.
Bonnie had been at Imboden Gardens for the last year and then moved to the Living Center. The entire campus was so gracious, kind and respectful. Mere words will never be able to express the love mom felt from the entire staff at both places. We thank and honor all of you for sharing as our extended family.
Bonnie was born to Owen and Pearl (Pinkston) Moore December 10, 1925, in Decatur, IL. She graduated from Blue Mound High School and then married her high school sweetheart, Carl Seifert in June 1943. He preceded her in death February 17, 2014.
This past June they were able to celebrate 70 years of marriage in an open reception at the Gardens.
To their union they were blessed with two sons, Roger (Cyndi) Seifert and David (Debbie) Seifert; grandchildren, Toby (Lauren) Seifert, Amy (John) Schmahl, Abbey (Brian) Britton and Becky (Jeremy) Zindel; great-grandchildren, Owen Seifert, Lane Seifert, Naomi Schmahl, Noah Schmahl, Brody Britton, Gavyn Seifert and Brylee Britton.
Bonnie was a member of the First Christian Church in Moweaqua where she served her Lord in many ways. She was a homemaker who worked alongside her husband on the farm and as Dad's right arm at State Farm.
A precious smile and a sweet, gentle personality that made everyone feel warm and loved. Bonnie could stroke a cat or dog, as well as, her own children and grandchildren and always put them to sleep in her arms. So tender and kind was this lady who will be missed by all, especially her special cousin, Mary Ann Eversole.
Rest in Peace.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her only sister Barb.
Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua has been entrusted with the care and service arrangements. Condolences for the family may be left at www.seitzfh.com
