Beverly J. Portwood, 68, of Pendleton, passed away March 3, 2016 at Rawlins House Pendleton, IN.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Oddfellows Cemetery, Moweaqua. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Beverly was born on June 25, 1947 in Moweaqua, IL, the daughter of Ralph E. and Florence F. (Ritter) Portwood. She worked several years for a wholesale paper company in Indianapolis, then worked in the telecommunications department at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. Her biggest enjoyment was shopping and reading so she has a collection of books.

She is survived by sisters, Anna L. Cleveland of Pendleton, IN, Janice (James) Murphy of Ft. Wayne, IN, sister-in-law, Beverly Ann Portwood of Decatur, IL, brother-in-law, Leto Voudrie of Moweaqua, IL; many nieces and nephews, the dog, Laci and cat, Jag.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; William Edward, James, John and Lewis; sisters: Roberta M. Stevens and E. Irene Voudrie and four nieces.
