Betty Jean Van Syckel, 88, of Moweaqua died March 1, 2013 in her home.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.
Visitation will be one hour before services.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.
Betty was born February 27, 1925 in Moweaqua, IL the daughter of Lawrence and Viola (Harris) Goodwin. She married J. Robert Van Syckel in Moweaqua February 27, 1946. He preceded her in death December 15, 2011.
Betty was a member of the Assumption United Methodist Church. She graduated from Moweaqua Schools and Brown's Business College. Betty and her husband farmed many years together.
Preceding her in death are her husband and parents.
