Betty L. Mindrup, 84, of Assumption, died May 27, 2018 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 in Assumption Christian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time, also in the church. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption. Memorials may be made to Assumption Christian Church.

Betty was born October 2, 1933 in Morrisonville, IL, the daughter of Robert and Laura (Finn) Brookshire. She married Harold Mindrup in Witt, IL June 1, 1957. He preceded her in death November 26, 2015.

Betty was a member of Assumption Christian Church and former co-owner of Harold's Dollar Wise in Assumption.

Surviving are her son Dennis R. (Suzy) Mindrup of Valmeyer, IL; daughter, Sharon K. (Randy) Middleton of Assumption, IL; grandchildren: Alecia Pfeffer, Crystal (John) Bertram, Heather Good and Jonathan Mindrup; great-grandchildren: Kaleigh Mindrup, Sarah Bertram, Emily Bertram, Hayden Good and Grace Bertram; brother, Charles Brookshire of Springfield, IL; and sisters: Doris Miller of Filmore, IL and LaDonna Smith of Fredericksburg, VA.

Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters.
