Barbara R. Federman, 83, of Moweaqua died April 20, 2014 at home.

Services will be 1:00 pm, Friday April 25, 2014 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Moweaqua.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Moweaqua.

Barbara was born September 21, 1930 in Moweaqua the daughter of Harold K. and Agnes (Pribble) Federman.

Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Moweaqua.  She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University and continued her education at New York University, where she received her Master's Degree. Barbara taught Physical Education and coached volleyball and golf at: Lincoln Way High School in New Lennox, IL, Streator High School in Streator, IL, Colorado State University in Greeley CO. and DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.  Barbara taught and coached at DePauw University for 20 years, servivng as Assistant Athletic Director for two years, prior to retirement.  She owned and operated "Barbs Snack Shop" for several years.

Surviving are her sisters; Ruth Ann Kunz of Channahon, IL and Mary Carol Elias of Buffalo Grove, IL and six nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Charles.
