Aubrey Dell Duncan, 81, of Moweaqua, died March 31, 2016, in his home.
Funeral services will be11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, also in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to A & M Youth Summer Ball, Moweaqua Fire Department or Moweaqua Ambulance Service.
Aubrey was born March 25, 1935 in Moweaqua, the son of Clair A. and Doris D. (Griffith) Duncan. He married Lola Carol Sanner December 10, 1955 in Moweaqua. She preceded him in death September 26, 2013.
Aubrey was affiliated with First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua and a member of NRA. He started farming at an early age and continued for over 70 years. Aubrey loved to attend his grandchildren's sporting events and was a proud supporter. He was a pilot and loved aviation, boating and go-carting in his early years.
Surviving is his daughter, Cindy Minott of Moweaqua; son, Troy (Teresa) Duncan of Moweaqua; grandchildren: Shea (Wes) Temples of Bloomington, IL, Ross (Kathy) Minott of Naples, FL, Audrey Minott of Decatur, IL ,Tessa (Brett) Sobol of Philadelphia, PA and Trenton Duncan of Moweaqua; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Cooper, Jaiden and Ryan Temples of Bloomington, IL and Sadie Minott of Naples, FL; brother, Marion (Judy) Duncan of Anna Maria Island, FL; sisters: Suzanne (Merle) Schinzler of Auburn, IL and Sherry (Jim) Giles of Moweaqua and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents, wife and son-in-law, Jim Minott.
