Ashley Marie Burnett, 43, of Decatur, IL, died June 3, 2026, in Rose Garden of Pana, IL.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL.  Memorials may be made to Quad County Hospice.

Ashley was born on February 5, 1983, in Fort Campbell, KY, the daughter of Dena Shuck.

Ashley loved art, reading, watching movies and TV.  She enjoyed writing, keeping a journal, and spending time outdoors, but above all else, she loved being a mother.  Ashley was excited for the arrival of her soon to be great-niece or nephew.

Surviving are her daughter, Tara Burnett of Decatur, IL; son, Joel (Serenity) Hill of Mt. Zion, IL; mother, Dena (Steve) Rakers of Pana, IL; brother, Cory Logan of Decatur, IL; sister, Carrie Scoles of Mt. Pulaski, IL; grandparents: Don and Rosie Shuck of Assumption, IL and Marilyn Harley of Decatur, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her grandfather, Howard Harley.
