Alleen L. Gaither, 91, of Moweaqua died February 27, 2013 in Heritage Manor, Mt. Zion.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Visitation will be one hour before service time. Casual attire is requested.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Moweaqua.

Memorials will be donor's choice.

Alleen was born August 24, 1921 in Pana, Illinois the daughter of Francis and Sylvia K. (Lingenfelter) Lamm. She married James H. Gaither Sr. January 8, 1938 in Vincennes, In. He preceded her in death July 25, 2003.

Surviving are her son Larry (Irma) Gaither of Decatur, IL; and daughters Barbara (Dana) Grantham of Butler, IL, Nancy (Warren) Shaw of Decatur, IL, Mary Lou (Terry) Boles of Mt. Zion, IL; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Frances Jackson of Macon, IL and Clara Becker of Assumption.

Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, son James Gaither Jr., three brothers and two sisters.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the caregivers and staff at Heritage Manor and Passages Hospice for the loving care they gave our mom the last three years.
