Ada M. Dickie, 86, of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan died December 14, 2014 in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI.

Memorial Service will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 in First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Moweaqua Public Library.

Ada was born October 24, 1928 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Paul and Florence (Williams) Hempy. She married Malcolm Dickie, he preceded her in death.

Ada was a bookkeeper for several small businesses and had worked at the Grosse Pointe Public Library, Central Branch. She was an active member of the Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church.

Ada is survived by her children: Debra (Richard) Crabb of St. Clair Shores, MI., Shawn (Mike) Conlin of Moweaqua, IL., and Malcolm II "Tad" (Beth) Dickie of Trophy Club, TX.; grandchildren: Andrew, Spencer, Trent, Malcolm III, Tyler, Katie, Brian, Kristen and Brooke; brother, James Hempy and aunt, Irene Pyle.

Preceding her in death are her husband and parents.
